Staffordshire Schools Badminton Association
(Updated 23/8/12)

Closely linked to the Senior County organisation, the SSBA runs many tournaments, training sessions and other events to support the talented and enthusiastic young players within Staffordshire.
Managed by a voluntary committee, the SSBA receives tremendous support from team managers and other helpers. Their hard work plus that of the committee members makes the achievements of the SSBA possible.
Central to the organisation is the secretary, Frances Steele. See the Contacts page for telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.
Please see the following documents relating to membership:

Links with an extensive list of Staffordshire schools keep school contacts up to date with events and competitions run by the SSBA.
The SSBA training sessions and skill development work depend heavily upon many people, such as Ken Steele, who continues to offer individual coaching to all SSBA members, Andy Aspinal, who train the junior squads, and to schools and other organisations, whose facilities are used for the training sessions and other events. (See the Coaching page for details of Ken's training sessions.)
If you would like to enquire more about the SSBA, contact the Secretary. The SSBA programme of tournaments, training sessions and other fixtures can be seen on the SSBA programme page. Details of other coaching sessions led by Ken Steele and other BE qualified coaches are listed in the Coaching section.
Tournament and match results will be included in the News section page.
Entry Forms for forthcoming Tournaments can be printed via the SSBA programme. See the instructions on the page.
